Booking terms

These terms apply when you book a car, a driver or a shared seat with Joshi Car Rental, run by Bishal Joshi in Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal. By confirming a booking you agree to them.

Booking and price

• A booking is confirmed when we confirm the car, date, pickup time and price to you in writing, usually on WhatsApp.
• The price we confirm is the price you pay for the trip as described. We will tell you before confirming what it includes, such as fuel, tolls, parking and driver costs.
• Extra stops, waiting time, a longer route or more days than agreed may cost more. We will agree any extra cost with you first.
• Prices and travel times shown on this website are a guide. The price that applies is the one we confirm for your booking.

Payment

We will tell you when you book whether a deposit is needed and how and when to pay the rest.

Changes and cancellations

• If you need to change or cancel, tell us as early as possible on WhatsApp or by phone.
• Any cancellation charge will be agreed with you when you book. If we have to cancel, we will offer another car or date, or refund what you have paid.

On the trip

• Travel times depend on traffic, weather, road works and road closures, which we cannot control. We will do our best to keep to the agreed times.
• Our drivers may refuse to drive in conditions they consider unsafe.
• Smoking is not allowed in the cars. Passengers are responsible for damage they cause to a car on purpose or through carelessness.
• Please keep your valuables with you. We are not responsible for items left in the car, but we will help you get them back if we find them.

Shared seats

Shared trips leave at the time we confirm. If you are not at the pickup point on time, the car may leave without you.

Self-drive rental

• You must show a valid driving licence and ID when you collect the car. Visitors from abroad usually also need an International Driving Permit.
• Only drivers named in the booking may drive the car.
• We check the car with you at pickup and return. You are responsible for fines, tolls and fuel during the rental, and for damage as agreed when you book.
• The car must be returned at the agreed time and place, with the agreed fuel level.
